FAQs

FAQ #1 - Does it matter how many cats I have?

We recommend that you opt for pampered purrfection as a minimum if you have 3 or more cats in your home, as it is likely to take us longer than 15mins to service them all.

FAQ #2 - Will you empty litter trays?

If your cat uses a litter tray in the house, we will empty it on each visit and refresh it completely on the frequency you desire.

FAQ #3 - Will you let my cat(s) out or in?

If your cat(s) is an indoor cat then we won't be letting them out while you are away.

If your cat(s) is an outdoor cat then we will happily let them in/out as per your request, but due to not knowning when they might want to come back in we suggest that they have access to a cat flap.

If your cat(s) is normally allowed to roam free, but you would like them to stay in during your holiday we will happily attach a tracker to them in case they make a bolt for the door, so we can track them down.

We also suggest you have their special treat to hand or at elast let us know what it is in case we need to entice them back in.

FAQ #4 - Can you help take my cat(s) to the vets, even when I'm not away?

Our Pet to Vets service is available to all our customers and non customers. There is a charge and we will help were we can. Please let us know as far in advance as possible, so that we can book it in around our other commitments.

FAQ #5 - What do I need to provide?

You need to leave us with enough food, cat litter etc for the duration of your holiday. If it is a long holiday, and a deposit is paid we will happily purchase the additional supplies needed for your cat during your holiday and will bill them with the balance at the end of the assignment.

FAQ #6 - What happens if the cat has an accident?

If between our visits your cat has an accident that is fine, we will clean it up and dispose of the waste. If it is on a soft surface such as a carpet or sofa, we will not use detergents to clean up just in case the fabrics are not colourfast.

FAQ #7 - How do I book my visits?

Initially, we ask you to complete the contact form on our site, we will then send you a copy of our contract paperwork, which includes a pet profile so we get to know a bit about your cat.

Next step is a meet and greet, so you get to meet us in person and we can get to see where everything is for when we visit.

Finally, we can discuss and make arrangements for access whilst you are away. Then we are all set for you to go away and us to care for your purrfect pal.

FAQ #8 - Will you visit every other day?

Sorry, but no. We take our role as your cats carer whilst you are away seriously and therefore the minimum visit frequency is daily. This goes some way to address the social needs of your cat and also allows us to check on a daily basis that the cat is healthy and well.

FAQ #9 - What happens if my cat becomes ill whilst I'm away?

This is why we ask you to complete a veterinary release form, we will make every effort to contact you before we take your cat to the vet, but this form allows us to get your cat the treatment needed in your absence. We are happy to pay any vet bill on your behalf and you can reimburse us on your return.
